Can You Hear The Choir?
I was asked to work as the Cinematographer alongside Sonny Layton for this short horror film by Jacob Saul. The film follows a gentleman who seeks answers from an enigmatic priest and discovers a distorted place haunted by a hidden horror.

'In the heart of the English moorland, THE GENTLEMAN pursues answers from an enigmatic PRIEST who hides a secret from the pit of hell.'

The film was shot in various locations around the South West of England, in Devon and Cornwall over the course of a week. We followed standard guidelines for productions during the Covid-19 pandemic, maintaining a safe environment for everyone on set.
The short film was produced as part of Plymouth College of Art's graduate showcase in July 2021.

Cinematography
As Cinematographer alongside Sonny Layton we worked to communicate the message of the story through atmosphere, conveying emotion through the visual composition. We used a Black Magic Ursa Mini 4.6K as the main camera, and the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K as our 'B' camera.
